Returns & Refunds Policy
As we are an ethical & sustainable slow fashion conscious brand, we will only produce your items when we get your order. Your items are carefully handmade to order at our local one-stop facility in London, maintaining the highest production quality & ethical standards. We thrive for minimal wastage and also as our products are produced locally to us, we maintain low carbon emissions & shipping costs. You can proudly sport our unique designer merchandise, knowing that it has been produced ethically & sustainably; and as we do not stock our products, we produce minimal - no waste.
We ask you to please bear this in mind when purchasing from us and only return an item if it's faulty. We hate waste, and as a slow fashion lover, we think that you will too! If there are any questions prior to purchasing, please don't be shy - we are here to help. If there's anything wrong with your order, then please contact us and we will try our utmost to help you. We want you to enjoy our lovingly created designs for years & years to come! :)
Here goes the boring bit...
All goods are made handmade to order with great care & attention to detail, and passed through quality control department prior to dispatching of goods. However, in the rare case that a human error has been made, please contact us for a return/refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@funkyflamingolondon.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
As they are handmade to order only on demand, we can accept returns if the goods are faulty.
If a product is faulty in any way, you can return it within *7 days (from delivery) - you need to first contact us to obtain the Return Address Label - please do not post without first contacting us.
IMPORTANT: Before returning any item, please contact us at info@funkyflamingolondon.co.uk within the 3 days of receipt of goods, along with:
- Clear digital photos of the items
- Clear description of fault
- Your name
- Order number
Once the above information is sent to us, we will need to check & approve the return. Once approved, you will need to return the item/s to the Return Address that we provided within 7 days of receipt of goods.
Once the items have been returned to our manufacturer, the following will take place.
In many cases, remedy action can be taken as soon as substantiation of the claim is clear via email
- If the fault cannot be verified over the phone or email, you may need to return the item to us for inspection
- In that instance, a determination can then be made as to the state of the product
- Please do not return any items, before contacting us first as we cannot accept liability for such instances. This is to ensure that the return is accepted first, before you can post.
We can only acknowledge returned goods if they are sent using Royal Mail 'Signed For' Recorded Delivery, so that you have proof of delivery. You will have to meet the delivery costs of returning the products, although we will refund the postage at our discretion once the item in question is rechecked and deemed faulty.
All items must be sent in its original state, once the return is approved.
Please note: If the product is not in an unused condition, then we will not be able to offer you a remedy save for faulty workmanship which we may repair. Where there is a minor fault, we may suggest an alternative remedy.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods or custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Colour /design/ print disclaimer: Despite every effort to provide accurate images of each product’s colour/design/print, the actual colours/design/print may vary slightly, due to different device screen settings, slight differences in product finishes, type of fabric and other factors. It's worth noting that every computer monitor, laptop, tablet and phone screen has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. We try to edit our photos to show all of our products as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual colour/design/ print may vary slightly from your monitor and any colour/design/ print differences as such are not considered faulty.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refund
We will notify you once the return item is received and inspected and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. We thank you for your patience whilst the refunds are processed.
